I like that Jeremy Powers, Fulcrum Coaching and JBV coaching are on a mission to make us better cross racers. So much so they are putting on a rock solid set of clinics. For $300 dollars -  yes $300 you get a nice setup at the DC/MD clinic. Before you bitch about price lets break it down. From Bike Reg:
Cross Camp takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9, at Rosaryville State Park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Saturday’s clinic runs 9am to 5pm. Sunday’s instruction begins with a course walk through and also includes instruction throughout the day, before and after attendees races.
 On Saturday attendees learn:
Mounting
Dismounting
Carrying/Shouldering
Off-Cambers
The anatomy of a race course
Clipping in quickly
Exchanging bikes
Bunny hopping: when,why, and how
Equipment and tire selection

In addition to putting the skills learned the previous day to use at the Tacchino Cyclocross race, attendees receive:
Free entry to the race
Pre-race coaching from the time you arrive until the time you start your race
Post race analysis
Small group session race course evaluation
On-site mechanical support
Reserved “team”area course side
Trainers for warm up and cool down
Ok, let me pull that into perspective for all you people in the 400 level.
YOU HAVE THE REIGNING NATIONAL CHAMPION AND ONE OF THE BEST CYCLOCROSS RACERS IN THE USA/ NORTH AMERICA DROPPING PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE TO MAKE YOU A BETTER RACER AT THE FIRST BIG (and totally awesome with free entry) MID ATLANTIC ‘CROSS RACE OF THE YEAR.  Not to mention a wicked qualified group of coaches.
If you don’t walk away from this a better racer/ having learned something or having the best ‘cross experience of the weekend. There’s something seriously wrong with you.
If you do one clinic -  I’d say do this one. Sadly, I will likely be on the road for work that weekend but I encourage everyone to check it out and if you really want to put the hammer down between the tape this year. Sign up today for the Clinic in DC/MD or Cincinnati. You won’t be disappointed.

Full Disclosure: I use JBV Coaching & pay for the coaching plan -  couldn’t be happier with the results. Nothing gratis/payola here I actually really believe in he services these guys offer to make people better riders/competitors.
